XOtavo ("we", "us") operates xotavo.com. This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, and what we do with it. It covers the website only — services delivered under a signed agreement are governed by that agreement.
What we collect
- Contact form. Your name, email address, company (optional) and the message you write.
- Website scan tool. The domain you enter, the resulting scores and check details, and — only if you ask for the full report by email — your email address.
- Tavo chat. The question you type and the answer returned.
- Server logs. Standard request data (IP address, user agent, timestamp, page requested) retained by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention.
What we do with it
We use contact details to answer you. We use scan and chat records to operate and improve the tools. We do not sell your information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not add you to a marketing list without asking you first.
Who else sees it
We rely on a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting, DNS and security), Resend (transactional email delivery), and Microsoft 365 (our own email). They may only use the data to provide those services to us.
Scanning domains you do not own
Our scan tool performs passive checks against publicly available information — the same requests any visitor's browser or a search engine crawler makes. It does not attempt to access private areas, guess credentials, or probe for vulnerabilities.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies and does not use third-party analytics that profile you across sites.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are retained while there is an active or prospective business relationship, and are deleted on request. Scan and chat records are retained in aggregate to improve the tools.
Your choices
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email help@xotavo.com and we will respond.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS with a restrictive content security policy. Vulnerability reports are welcome — see security.txt.
